Cost Controller
We are seeking an enthusiastic, visionary and dynamic Cost Controller. You are responsible for managing the purchasing department creating and implementing purchasing policies. Your main duties are to evaluate the purchasing procedures, control the purchasing department budget, and manage costs.

Main Tasks…
- Implement a purchasing strategy
- Reviews and processes purchase orders
- Manages other members of the purchasing team
- Maintains records of goods ordered and received
- Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers
- Builds and maintains relationships with vendors
- Selects prospective vendors and negotiates contracts
- Evaluates vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price
- Schedules deliveries and ensures timely fulfillment of orders
- Researches and evaluates vendors to compare pricing and services
- Coordinates with fellow managers to monitor inventory and determine supply needs
- Ensures quality of procured items and addresses problems when they arise
- Keeps up with trends in procurement
- Any other ad hoc duties as requested by the management team
Requirements…
- successfully completed vocational training in the hotel industry or in the commercial sector
- work experience in accounting desirable, preferably in the hotel industry
- experience with OPERA / MICROS / FOURTH ADACO desirable
- good knowledge of MS Office
- good knowledge of the German and English language
- willingness to work independently
- friendly, open and professional demeanour
